Introduction - 'Where mind is held high' was the sole desire of Guru Ravindra Nath Tagore. And with this objective in mind, the Vidya Sagar College of Education has been established in the lap of the nature, away from the din of the city, on the same pattern as Guru Ji had founded the Shanti Niketan in Calcutta. As soon as the sun wakes up and smiles, its rays embrace and glitter the building of the college. It indicates that the inhabitants, naturally the students of the college, shall ever shine in life like the sun. With such high ambitions into consideration, the management of the college founded this college in the green and widely spread land on the Daulatpur Road, Near Satsang Bhawan, Dhuri - Distt. Sangrur (Punjab).

GOVERNING BODY - Vidya Sagar College of Education, Dhuri (Sangrur)  is governed by the management committee of 'Vidya Sagar International Educational & Social Welfare Society, Dhuri, Distt. Sangrur (Pb.) The society is a registered body registered under Society Registration Act (XXI) of 1860.
